Question about Amana AFD2535DES French Door Refrigerator
Sigh. Had to replace the relay overload just 2 months ago (July). Today the power just went off. We discovered the circuit breaker tripped. Reset it, tried to plug in refrigerator again. Motor tries to start, then trips the breaker again.
Wondering if this is related to previous problem or previous solution wasn't really the problem, just a precursor to this.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You may have lost your fridge. Try This.

Hi, you can check if there is a fanmotor on the condenser section and make sure that it is working. Second, you can try replacing the starter relay which you will find in the connection area of the compressor. If this does not work, I am afraid you would have to have the compressor replaced.

There's a good chance your compressor is the problem. Since it's been working I would try it with another relay since they are pretty cheap. If it's not the relay, you'll need a tech to replace the compressor or fix the freon leak and recharge the system.
