You can download drivers and manuals for HP products from the HP website. Go to http://www.hp.com/support and click on the map of the USA.
On the next page, click on United States (English)
Under "Support for your prducts" either click on "Download drivers and software"
In the "For product" box enter the model number of your product and click on the arrow to the right of the box.
You can now click on the drivers that you need to download to get your printer working.

canon printer generally do not require a disk. When you connect the printer the Windows XP operating system will automatically install the printer driver. You can also go to Canon website and download the drivers from there.
