Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

RE: i would like to change the tax rate on my "grocery tax" button.

Hi, it didn't work :(

I set the register to PRGM MODE

I then entered 9.25 (second attempt I entered 925).

Next i pressed the GROCERY TAX button (@ this time the screen displayed 0000000925)

I then pressed SUBTOTAL (@ this time a receipt was printed with this on it)

GROCERY TAX 0011-05
0 @9.25

I then tried it out in REG MODE but the tax is still charged at 8.25% (the original %)

What do you reccomend? I'm sure what you suggested is almost right, i'm probably just missing a crucial step.

THANKyOU

Hi.
The 11-05 tells me that this button is not a tax button. It has been labelled incorrectly. File 05 is the department file, so this is just a plain old department button (which is now priced at $9.25).
Do you need the tax to be added manually like that, or do you want it to be automatic. it looks like it has been set to auto at the moment, so it is just using the set tax rate. if you want it to be manual, you will need to add a separate tax button.

CASIO TE-3000s , i would like to change the tax rate on my "grocery tax" button.

Hi.
Try turning the key to program mode then,

type new rate (you may have to add decimal places such as 8.00 or 8.000)
Then press your grocery tax button
Then press SUBTOTAL

Turn back to REG mode, and try it.

Let me know if it doesn't work.
