Canon has the drivers and software for supported OS versions here: http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/printers_multifunction/office_all_in_one_inkjet_printers/pixma_mx320?selectedName=DriversAndSoftware . Select your OS in the drop-down menu. Make sure to select the x64 bit version if you have Win7 64-bit. To check this, click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System. If the OS title ends with x64, you have the 64-bit OS. Otherwise it's the 32-bit version.

Expand the section marked software and get the MP Navigator to get the full feature set of the all-in-one. Download this file. Then disconnect data cable from the computer. Uninstall the generic driver that is currently installed. (Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers ; right click on the MX320 and choose Remove Device) Reboot the computer if prompted to do so. Then find the MP Navigator software installer and double-left click on it. The UAC prompt will come up and you need to accept the changes (note you must be the system administrator). Then connect the USB cable when prompted to do so.

Unfortunately you will not be able to download any third-party software that came with the original CD.

I hope this helps.

My printer MX320 do not scan, says PC Scan Standby

You go on your computer open the start menu and go to devices and printers. Click on it. Click on your Canon Mx320 icon. Then it will say scanner management and you click on Scan Photos or Documents. The printer is just waiting for you to do it from the computer. From there you can preview the scanned photo or documented.
Press "OK" in the printer as well.

I need a disk for my cannon mx320 mine got lost

You can download all the contents of the CD from HERE, but you'll need to select your operating system, (O.S) [eg. Windows xp, windows vista, etc..] and Language. You'll see both the options on that page. Let me know if you need further help.

Good Luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

No manual trying to scan documents to pc canon mx320

using the scan buttons on your printer will save the documents as pdf files on your pc directly. You can however use the scan option on the Control Panel to save the documents as jpeg file.

I recently bought a Canon PIXMA MX320 all in one printer with my macbook. It works fine, but I can't figure out how to scan an image onto my laptop.

You need to control the scanner through your PC with canon software that came with your scanner otherwise you cant scan anything..first open the printer/scanner software ,select scanner, then place your document and command "scan" from the software.
Good luck, do rate the solution if helped

My canon pixma MX320 printer won't scan and when it attempts to it says there is no scanner detected

Hi!

Your printer will be detected as scanner if you successfully installed all feature of the drivers from the cd installer.

After installing the driver, the printer should be connected directly to the pc to detect the printer as scanner.

If the printer is on network... connect the usb to the pc that you are using.

Post back if you still have question.

Please rate thanks.

I just got done talking to Canon tech support about this issue. You have to have the MP Navigator software installed for that to work. Also, it could be that the Navigator software needs to be reinstalled because something is corrupted
