I just got a new Palm Centro and it is not finding the headset when I try to set it up. Can someone please help. Thanks!
Ok, so yeah, go to your phone and tell it to search for devices. while it searches, hold down the big button on the front of the headset until the light lights up. while it's lit up, turn it on by folding out the microphone piece. this should almost instantly pair your headset.
Press and hold the power button until the power button remains lit, about 15 seconds and is not flashing. When in this state it is in pairing mode. Go to the Bluetooth icon on your Centro and tell it to search for devices. Make sure the device is real close to the unit. It should find the device. Click on the device and it enter the passcode, which should be 0000. This should complete the pairing procedure and the headset light will start flashing. At this point the headset should be usable. Also, a footnote, if your Centro is to be used on the Sprint network, there is an update you need to download first:
http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/centroupdate/sprint.html
If this link does not work by clicking on it, copy and paste it into the address line of your browser an hit enter. Download and install this update. It has improved Bluetooth updates needed to fix and update your Centro's compatibility. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact me for assistance.
