Sounds like your laser is going bad, is dirty, or your system is overheating.
If your laser is going bad you will have to send it into a shop for repair. If its just dirty you can get a can of air and blast it in there and knock the dust/dirt off be sure to blow all around the unit to clean cooling vents if its overheating after you clean it it must go to get repair from a repair center
Well your disc is officially garbage because it's scratched for sure. Don't bother trying to fix your game disc. Do what I did. Go to sellitbroken.com and sell your game to them. They will give you good money for it.
