I have the same problem. I first noticed it when I smelled burning plastic. The belt had slipped off the motor assembly and in the process burned through some of the vacuum housing. If there was something holding the belt on the motor, it's gone now. The belt just sits on the rod until it decides to slip off, usually about every 5 minutes running. Finally the belt broke. There must be some piece that holds the belt on the motor axle, but I don't see where it would have gone on my vacuum.

My vacuum brush wont rolling when I use it, so I think when I use it, it seems it doesnt work at all, what can I do to fix this machine, so I dont have to buy the new one? Thanks a lot for the answer..!

the belt that drives the brush may have came off and twisted jamming brush,or could be jammed with a string off carpet edge, you will have to remove cover from bottom of unit and clean debris or replace belt. good luck

Bissell cleanview vacuum poor suction

The next thing that you need to do is replace the belt. Even if it's not cracked or worn, many times it's too loose, and it won't turn to rotor efficiently.

Believe it or not, just replacing the belt may be all that you need to do!
