I just installed photo explosion deluxe and cannot access photo explorer. i get a runtime error and then abnormal program abortion. os is vista. looks like lots of people are having similar problems. is this a garbage program that should be uninstalled and trashed? please help!
I've had the same problem with Photo Explosion Deluxe 3.0 never getting
past the opening screen. Neither tech support nor computer shop could
fix it. Have invested sooo much time and money trying to get it to
work! I did discover that Memories on TV will work so don't want to
uninstall (again!) the program. I thought it might work on my new
computer (Windows 7) but same problem.
My problem was I had to many pictures in my C/ pictures folder. It couldn,t load before it timed out. I moved those pictures to my C/photo folder, worked great! no more problem. I have win xp home ed sp 2. The Lord Jesus help me after month of prayer and not finding any solution on the web, Last night the answer just popped in my head, I'm not smart on pc, so I know I had help.Thank Jesus if this helps you. I did!

Note: Please make sure you download the correct one for your version of Photo Explosion 3.0. If you have the Deluxe version, download the Deluxe update. If you have the regular version, download the non-Deluxe update. 5. Save the update to an easily accessible location, such as your Desktop. 6. Once downloaded, go to where the update was saved and double-click the update. 7. After installing the update, you should no longer experience this problem.
Note: It is extremely important that you do not run Photo Explosion until you have restarted the computer and installed the update. If you run the program before installing the update, you will need to start the steps over from the beginning. This comes directly from the Nova FAQs. Hope this helps!
I just recently install Window 7 ultimate on my computer and then Acrobat 8 Pro start acting up. Try to open PDF file it will open for a little while then this thing pop up said Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library and Runtime Error. Then it shut down.
Anyone know how to solve this problems please help. Karoon Yip firstname.lastname@example.org
My solution: I found another solution(workaround) instead of reinstalling the program: 1. Try to remember wich devices you used in de Photo explorer (USB-stick, external drive, DVD- CD-drive, or photo-camera connected by USB; 2. You can only start PEX(Photo Explorer) with a volume loaded in this devices! 3. if you don’t remember wich devices you used before, plug in a volume in every device your system has. 4. Start PEX. On my system it is then starting without error! 5. If PEX is normaly started: goto File/Preferences/ (or F6 key), take category Cache and under “History” clean all adresses and maps by clicking the button. 6. Close PEX. Remove all the volume’s you don’t need; 7. Restart PEX. Now the program will start without any error. 8. Advice: each time you use PEX with an external device do action 5. before closing the program.
