It keeps on taking pictures over and over!

My camera is a 7.0 megapixel A730, and I changed my camera's batteries because it said the battery was low and after I turned on the camera and it kept on taking picutes over and over. If I press any buttons, they don't work, the camer just keeps on taking pictures. Help!

It keeps taking pictures as soon as it's turned on. Pressing menu or any other button does not work.

Ok, take the batteries out and shut the door. press the shutter button at leaset 5 times(this ensures that it isnt stuck). after about 5 min. put the batteries back in. this work on mine when it was having the same issue

Hello totzz:
It seems that this camera may have a stuck button or a shorted circuit.
See if you can get to any menu options. Reset all, if you can. Then test it.

How do i fix low battery problem, I get about 5 o 6 photos before it shuts down to low battery and i want to change the batteries.

Some batteries, although the correct nominal voltage for the camera, are not powerful enough for continued use. I have found the best solution is to use rechargeable NiMH batteries of at least 2100 MaH, preferably 2500 MaH.

i don't know what age the camera is, did you try full batteries , normally it shouldn't do this it must have a defect if the batteries are not the problem..
