I can't focus my webcam and i tried to rotate the lens and its imposible, i'm want to open it but i don't know how

-   When I first installed LifeCam VX 1000 it worked perfectly and the focus was perfect. Now I have installed a new hard drive & have reloaded all my stuff on. The LifeCam is operating 100% but the focus is all blurry & I do not seem to have the facility to turn the lens to adjust the focus as suggested. It seems to be all one unit with no turning adjustment.-   magee985

-   having the same problem. it's as if the focusing ring is fused or glued to the body. and i cant seem to take it apart as there dont seem to be any screws holding this camera together so if i pry it apart at the seams i guess ill have to super glue it back together-   brinana
