Hi,
I have same DD 5.1 tiny "bursts" problem with satellite HD channel. It is probably problem with Crystal DSP (German site): http://forum.digitalfernsehen.de/forum/showthread.php?t=89328&page=3

SOURCE: I have a Denon AVR

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
Well as a first course of action I strongly suggest that you unplug the receiver from power source and let it sit for atleast 5mins. then reconnect it again. Turn the unit on, connect the cable and observe how it goes. This will reset the system and can get the unit back to it's normal operation.

If it still fails then the unit can have a faulty circuit board or capacitors in it that will surely need replacement. You can determine a faulty capacitor if it has leak on the top part and a faulty circuit board will surely have a burnt color.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
