Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
My kids haven't played their PS2 in a few days, and when they went to turn it on they realized there is NO power on the console (LED does not come on - at all)....Is there any hsitory with the AC/DC converters going bad ???...Or, could something else be the problem ?
It could be the power cord, but it could also be the connection where the cable connects to the system. The cheapest fix would be to try a new power cord. If it's the slim PS2 then it's only about a $15 fix. If it's the large older PS2, then it's more like a $5 fix for a cord.
blingbdog, do you have the slim or the old large system? Also, let me know if the warranty is still valid (have you had the console for more than 1 year).
