Paper entry the paper is pulling crooked through the paper entry slot. It pulls to the right and rips going through the paper channel. No paper appears to be jammed inside. Until this is fixed, I can't print anything.

Check the paper path. Turn off the unit and shake while the unit is overturned. After many, many, power cycles I found a problem to be a missing screw in the bottom paper path guide. After replacing it
the unit functioned "normally!"

Good Luck,

Cheers-

I called a registered service agent and they suggested I tip the printer upside down incase any little things were stuck in it such as a staple or paper clip. I did not see anything fall out but it is now printing again. Hope this helps!!

How do I fix a paper jam? I've got paper jam around the exit roller and I can't get it out?

There should be a way to unlock one of the sides. Try taking out the toner cartridge and going in that way. If you can see the paper, get a pair of needle nose pliers and SLOWLY see if you can pull the paper out.

My MX310 got a paper jam and when i pulled the paper out a small piece of the corner tore off and is still stuck in the printer. The printer now continues to claim there is a paper jam but i cant visually...

Remove the paper following the procedure below.
(1) Slowly pull the paper out, either from the Rear Tray or from the Paper Output Slot, whichever is easier.
If the paper tears and a piece remains inside the machine, turn the machine off, open the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover) and remove it.
Be careful not to touch the components inside the machine.
After removing all paper, close the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover), and turn it back on.
If you cannot pull the paper out, turn the machine off and turn it back on. The paper will be ejected automatically.
(2) Reload the paper in the machine, and press the OK button on the machine.

Samsung SCX-4200 manual feed prints crooked

You need to change the pick up rollers for your printer if it pulling the paper unevenly... but first check to see that the paper size adjuster on the tray i self is set to your paper likeness.....adjust to the correct paper size if not...

You might try this before turning it over to the tender mercies of a tech:
Use a high-quality bond paper and remove any other sheets from the feed slot or tray; 'paint' a stripe of alcohol across the page; preferably pure, rubbing alcohol if you can't get other. Let the machine start to pull the sheet through but hold it so it can only take an inch or so before stopping; hold and release several times and hope that one of the stops is between pinch rollers that will yield up its load of paper fibers.
This is NOT a 'sure-fire' method but can often cure the problem for a while before the rollers load up with paper fiber again. BTW, 'bargain' paper can cause this to happen earlier than quality bond since it has more loose wood fiber that can depart from the sheet and build up on rollers.

Oltona,

did the page rip as you pulled it out? It always does when I do :(

could be that a small fragment of paper has been left behind which is keeping the misfed/jam sensor set.

Paper Pulled in Squint

I had a similar problem; paper would go sideways when it was trying to pull it through. I looked into the paper slot with a mirror and found a mini-blind clip had fallen into the printer. I tipped the printer over and shook it out and it worked fine.

Epson Stylus CX4600 pulling paper in crooked

Hi, please check if there is a paper jam or any obstruction inside that printer. Check also the platen lever or the left edge guide, make sure that paper is loaded correctly. Try printing again. If issue still present. Your printer needs to be send to service center.
