Power on at wall but nothing lights up or works on washing machine.Checked power point and power is ok.

If the washer is acting as if it is getting no power, but you have checked the power wall outlet ... there is a chance that the power cord itself has failed. I found a reference to someone who had a pinched power cord that had shorted out ... resulting in the washer getting zero power.
Carefully inspect your cord ... but the challenge is that you may not be able to see visible damage.
Another reason for no power to the washer can be that an internal non-replaceable fuse on the circuit board has blown.

it could be faulty flex cable from the washer to wall socket or where the flex cable is screwed into the terminal block inside the machine come out or broken

My be a problem with compressor relay coil which was attached to comprosser request you to check it first then check power cable and switch board

all washers have a switch without them the washer would cease to operate. Check power source (outlet at the wall. ) use bed light lamp to test. if thats ok you may have a a faulty switch or an internal safety fuse blown

Have you checked the power at the power point?
plug a lamp or similar into the power point to check.
Are there any indicator lights showing on the front of the machine?
could be a main board, have come across a whirlpool wfs1273bd with a similar problem yeasterday with a similar issue, pwer to the main board but nothing out.

If its the model i'm thinking of, there is a fuse located on electronic board. disconnect power. acess by removing 3 screws along top rear, top panel comes off. locate fuse-if faulty, fuse should be replaced with a 4amp slow blow fuse.
