hi please could you help me. when i tap the phone icon. Phone loads up but does not let me tap on anything, after about 5 seconds it quits randomly. I can phone people, by tapping the contacts icon on the main screen but when i do phone people, the only way to end the call is by turning the phone off. I have restored the phone and i have held the home and on/off button simultaneously for ten seconds. It still didn't work. This is really starting to bug me. PLZ HELLP!!!!

See the following suggestions from Apple:

1 Try restarting iPhone. To turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

2 Try pressing and holding the Home button for at least 6 seconds to close a frozen application. Then try restarting iPhone following the steps outlined above.

3 To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

If the 3 steps above did not solve the problem , then the Iphone is probably faulty , take it to a Apple repair shop, or call Apple service phone number listed on the user guide.

4 Reset settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings Note: This will reset all settings. No data or media will be deleted.

5 If that does not resolve your issue, try erasing all content and settings.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings
Note: This will delete all media and data. All settings will be reset as well.

6 Try restoring iPhone using the latest version of iTunes.
Connect iPhone. When it appears in the Source list, click on Restore in the Summary tab.

If the 6 steps above did not solve the problem , then the Iphone is probably faulty , take it to a Apple repair shop, or call Apple service phone number listed on the user guide.
