Question about Delphi Roady SA10035 XM Radio Receiver

1 Answer

Cable for XM capable Stereo

We own a Denon AVR-1507 receiver, and it has an XM terminal on the back of the unit. The instructions say that we can connect it to an XM Passport system. We own a Roady with the this same type of cable or connection available for a Roady?

Nope, you need to buy a "Passport" unit which is like a card, and then a Passport Base which is the card holder with a home antenna. You put the card into the base and plug the base into your Denon and the antenna into the Passport base. You should be able to get XM channel 1 and XM247 right away. If so, then you can call and get the unit activated under the 'family plan' which is cheaper since you already have one unit. Contact me if you need more help, okay?

The Denon AVR-1507 switches off and power light blinks red. Its a cool unit and ventilated so no idea what the issue is. This happened when it was off over night. What is the solution. Manual says send to...

Before you send the unit to the service center, check the wiring. Make sure that the speaker wires don't have loose strands that are touching each other or touching the rear panel of the AVR-1507. Check all of the speaker wire connections for loose strands. Since the receiver is minimally used, you could try vacuuming out any dust from the interior of the unit. Note: if the receiver is still under warranty, opening the case to clean it will void your warranty.

If the problem persists, a service center is the best option unless you are very skilled at fixing electronics. Manuals Lib does have a service manual for the AVR-1707, AVR-1507 and other models. However, there is a notation that individual illustrations may not match the receiver being worked on. A Google search can lead you to this manual.

I hope this helps.

My Denon AVR-1507 keeps automatically turning off every time I turn it on. Then the standby button blinks red. Is there a quick fix to reset the microprocessor?

Thanks for using FixYa. Store these instructions in a safe place. After reading, store these instructions along with the warranty card in a safe place. Whenever the power operation button is in the STANDBY state, the unit is still connected to AC line voltage. Please be sure to turn off the power operation button or unplug the cord when you leave home for, say, a vacation. Note that the illustrations in these instructions may differ from the actual unit for explanation purposes. Please click on this link for further reference---

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Is there any way you can connect two subwwofers to this receiver?

Certainly... the easiest way is to purchase an RCA Y adapter to split the pre-out subwoofer connection to both subs.

Here's a link to what you need: (Best Buy)

This will not, however, give you a discrete left and right sub. You'll need a receiver with 7.2 capability to do that.

Make sure the phase is set the same on both subwoofers, or they'll cancel each other out and you'll end up with less bass than you had before with one sub.

If this answers your question, would you rate it for me?

Denon AVR-1507 No sound on left front channel

Because the sound is only faint says to me that the power amp that controls the left channel is faulty. You need to look at the device(s) on the heatsink and probably replace them.
