Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
Hi please could anybody help me. when i tap the phone icon. Phone loads up but does not let me tap on anything, after about 5 seconds it quits randomly. I can phone people, by tapping the contacts icon on the main screen but when i do phone people, the only way to end the call is by turning the phone off. I have restored the phone and i have held the home and on/off button simultaneously for ten seconds. It still didn't work. This is really starting to bug me. PLZ HELLP!!!!
Did you restore the phone and set up as new? or did you restore from a back up?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: phone app not working correctly
See the following suggestions from Apple:
1 Try restarting iPhone. To turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
2 Try pressing and holding the Home button for at least 6 seconds to close a frozen application. Then try restarting iPhone following the steps outlined above.
3 To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
If the 3 steps above did not solve the problem , then the Iphone is probably faulty , take it to a Apple repair shop, or call Apple service phone number listed on the user guide.
