Guitar hero 3 corldless guitar wont work

The reciever of the guitar just keeps blinking so i thought the batteries were low but when i changed them it kept on blinking so i dont know what to do.....Any ideas?

Hi had the same problem with mine tryed everything found out there was a voltage drop on the main board of the guitar so cut into the wire that goes into the battery pack and added another battery bring the total voltage to 4.5vdc and this is working good now, hope this helps and you workout what i am telling you to do to solve this prob. let me know how u get on

ITS JUST THE BATTERIES ITS TELLING YOU IT NEEDS NEW ONES! I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND JUST PUT IN BRAND NEW BATTERIES AND IT STOPPED FLASHING RIGHT AWAY AND IT WORKED!!! =O)

Hello, My Guitar hero guitar seems to be giving me trouble, the "Start power button / Select" will flash when i turn the guitar on but it wont do anything else this *** adding up to a...

Could be that your batteries are dead.
When the batteries are too low to operate the guitar, the lights on either the PS3 or XBOX 360 versions will simply blink a few times then disconnect and shut down.
Replace the batteries with freshly charged AA's or brand new Alkalines.

Tough problem. Could be the guitar, or the wireless reciever. Try plugging the guitar in via USB and see if it works. If not, try these steps.

If it's a wireless one: The battery pack may have a broken power cable inside the guitar or the power switch could be faulty. If it's a minor fault like that and the shop won't replace it then it is definitely worth opening up to check for obvious faults.

Reciever not picking up guitar

make sure the batteries are good..try turning it off and on. some recievers have a reset button or it could be on the guitar. good luck

Bought a new PS2 and now my Guitar Hero Guitar won't sync

the same problem happened to me, and i just pressed the sync buttons on the guitar and the wireless adaptor at the same time and let it sit. it started syncing fine after that. I hope i helped! :)
