Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have been using my craig mp3 player without any probs until today. It started when i was on the computer trying to add new music files and remove old ones. I would make the changes and close out, properly remove hardware and go into the Mp3 player and no changes would have been made! Finally, the last time I plugged it onto the USB windows said it needed reformatted. I attempted to reformat it in all three formats windows offered and everytime it says windows cannot format at this time (or something to that effect) Now everytime I try to turn on the Mp3 player it reads: Error! Reformat internal media as then flashes to the "bye bye" screen. Is there anything I can try to fix it? I'm running windows Vista right now, at home I have xp. I'm not sure what the model number is on the player as it is an older style- its shaped like an elongated pointy oval and has a soft finish on it, and is of course made by Craig. I tried to get info from the manufaturer but there is nothing on the site and they don't answer the phone:( Thanks so much in advance for any help with this!
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

i just bought-june 14, 2008. The Minidisc provided in the purchase was sandwhiched in the packing, I almost threw it away before finding it.
The Minidisc when inserted in my disc driver does not come on automatically and does nothing when I open it manually. I tried installing the software on it and using it, but it continues to do nothing.
When I connected the MP3 player to my laptop with the USB Cable provided, a message appeared "USB Device not recognized".

this is a no brainer.....first thing I did was set up (formatted) the player with the disk drive utility supplied with mp3 player. Next you add in your MP3 songs. Turn on your player and with the mode button...go to MSC it will be highlighted black....then press in mode button to enter folder. Songs shouls be seen....and press power button to start.
