I'll tell you how I fixed it.......for 14.95. My next purchase will certainly exclude SONY...they really are

How could bass be gone if you replaced the speaker? Did you hook it up properly? Is signal getting to the subwoofer?

How do you fix the dull display on Sony receivers?

No. The display tube itself would probably need to be replaced.

My bass part of the pro 150 is working but not the tweeter part...whats gone wrong the diaphragm looks goog so im confused are there fuses in them for seperate tweeter bass etc..thanks hope you can...

Tweeters blow pretty easily. Access the back of the tweeter and touch a weak battery across it's leads. It should click if the coil isn't fried open or shorted.

I just bought a new Sony STR-DH510 reciever, I connected a sub woofer and 2 surround sound speakers to it and it worked perfectly. The next day I go to turn it on and it will turn on for about 30 seconds...

Problem is in the amplifier output stage...there is probably a shorted component...the short could have come from a bad speaker..or the speaker wires getting touched together while it was on...you could return to store if it is new and get a new one...maybe it was a return and accidentally got put back into stock

On my portable walkman model Sony MEGA Bass Walkman SRF-M85v I am showing a n icon that looks like a key. I do not have my instructions manual, but I am sure that it is locked. I did not lock it...

You are correct the walkman is in lock mode. You can change in and out of lock mode by moving the 'hold' switch up or down on the front of the walkman unit. You should see the key symbol disappear when you make the change.
