Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
Goodluck!

### When i ask to solve it wont let me

If it is not accessible (grayed out) then the context is inappropriate. The reason could be the misuse of the verb solve. A lot of people confuse calculate with solve.
If you care to tell us what you were trying to do, exactly, maybe we can help.

### How can i solve derivative for the ex? Ex: f(x) = (x^2+3x)^3 (easy one, want to know how to get it on the calculator without defining a value for X) Cheers

The calculator can calculate numerical values of derivatives of functions (at a given point). It does not have a Computer Algebra System so what you want to do cannot be done. You should look for a Casio calculator with a CAS, such as the ClassPad, the FX_Algebra 2 or the FX 9860G. Sorry.

### How we can multiply two algebraic equation in 991 ES CASIO calculators

The Calculator does not have a Computer Algebra System (CAS), and cannot perform algebraic operations with variables. However if you enter some expression with variables, it can solve for one unknown after it prompts you for the values of the others

### How would i solve for an expression and be able to leave it in terms of the variable, like (2a-1)(8a-5) and get the answer with the variable in it

This calculator cannot manipulate algebraic expressions. You can enter an expression and generate a table of values. You can enter an equation in one unknown and solve it. But you cannot do algebra.
You would need a calculator that has a Computer Algebra System (Algebra FX 2.0, or ClassPad 300/330). Sorry.

In answering your other question I did make a mistake: I looked at the wrong version of the manual. The Algebra FX 2 Plus does solve for eigenvalues. Under the CAS. Here is a screen capture to help you.

### How can i do algebra and keep the pronumerals and not use the inputted number? I am using the latest casio, it is a scientific calculator (not sure which model)

It is always risky to try to answer a question about a calculator of an undisclosed model.
To be able to symbolic algebra (with variables), one needs a calculator with CAS (or Computer Algebra System). These types of calculators are special graphing calculators. ( Not all graphing calculators have a CAS.)

To get back to your question: No, you cannot do algebra with a mere scientific calculator even a recent one. All you can do is define an equation with variables A,B,C,D, Y and X and press the Solve button if it exists. The calculator will ask: Solve for X?. If you say yes, you will be prompted for the values of all letters (A,B,C,D, Y) in your equation and the calculator will search for the value of X, that makes the left side of your equation equal to the right side.

It will display the X-value and the difference L-R.

### How do i calculate limits on my Casio fx-115es? Ex. lim x->3 for (x2'-0)/x-3

Sorry, but you cannot calculate limits of functions with this calculator. It does not have a Computer `Algebra System (CAS). For that you need a graphing calculator with CAS: Casio ClassPad 300, 300PLUS, 330, HP 48 GII, HP49 G/ G+, HP 50G, TI-NSPIRE CAS, TI89 Titanium, TI 92/92PLUS, TI Voyage 200 PLT. It is still a very good scientific (non graphing) calculator
However, you can calculate numerical derivatives, and numerical integrals, solve linear and non-linear equations.

Even though this post does meet your expectations, do not let that prevent you from rating it.
