Question about Flat Panel Televisions
This happens when the tv cpu detects an internal problem, for example an overvoltage, a short, or a faulty component.
The tv goes in protected mode, and activates a safety switch that turn immediately the tv off, that is what is happening to your tv.
Try unplugging the tv for one hour or so, this will drain power from the unit, and reset the TV chips, in case the TV is "wrong" about the problem.
If it does not works it means that the tv has an internal fault, in this case you may need to call a technician if you want to fix it.
If you need to call a repairman you can use the phone number listed on the owner manual.
