Question about CyberPower Office Power 585AVR (obcps585avr_1) UPS System
Could the batteries be out of recharge?
One of two issues is likely causing this:
1. There is too much plugged in to the battery outlets on the device for the unit to provide backup.
2. More than likely it just needs a new battery. You can find a battery here: http://www.batteryinternational.com/cyber-power-cps585avr-ups-battery-ups-batteries-f1.html
Hope that helps and thanks for voting.

Yes, that could be the case. Eventually, a battery will be unable to recharge and would need to be replaced.
You could get a new battery from a local battery specialty store like Batteries Plus or Interstate Battery, or online at www.replacementupsbattery.com. A new battery would be about $30. If you took your old battery there, they could recycle your old one, as well as match it up with the correct one you would need (BP7-12 battery).
We have a 3 year warranty on all our battery back up units. If you have any questions, you could contact us here at CyberPower Systems Technical Support at 877-297-6937, M-F 8-5 Central, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
