Question about Panasonic Phones
Not showing any missed calls and just shows "ringing" when a call comes in, not the number calling
SOURCE: I HAVE A PANASONIC PHONE
There are several things to ask yourself.
1. Do you have the manual?
2. Is there any software programming which relates to set ring?
3. Is there a manual switch for ring on/ring off?
4. Will another phone ring when plugged into the same jack?
IF NOT, the red and green wire may be reversed at the jack.
5. Lastly, has this cordless handset ever rang?
Most cordless sets have a volume control from off to loud. I hope this will help you solve your problem.

Is there an 'M' on the display? If so, that means it is in 'meeting mode.' All you have to do is press and hold the star key (*) and that will take care of it.

Remove all power (wall and batteries). Ensure that the phone line is active and properly connected. Did they used to work? If so, check line conditions. If not, return for exchange.

If nothing answers extension 165 then you probaby don't have voice mail. You can look for something as simple as a TVS-50 or a TVA anything sytsem (US part numbers). Ebay has deals, but check back here before you dive in. You can probably pick up a system for less than $300.
