My camera fell off my

My camera fell off my coffee table onto our carpet, and since then when I take a picture, I get "error 99." I take a picure and then the error screen comes on, so I turn it off and take out my battery... still next time after maybe two or three pics, the error. I have reformated my CF card, and still the error 99 continues to come on. My camera also is making a noise every time I do anything to it (including taking my battery out even when the camera is turned to off.
