RCA TV Our TV is on with a beautiful picture, but no sound? It worked fine the night before and now no sound? What could be wrong?

Your SSB board is the problem its either your audio output ic or the board its self use external jacks red& white use your stereo for sound. cost of SSB board is 292.00

check color code cables be sure all cable match up with the right inputs red to red and white to white rca or HDMI will same you alot of problems but sure that your tv have HDMI outputs

there is a switch on the back of the tv that has internal and external speakers slection i would check that especialy if you have hooked up any new componants

sounds like the HV lead isnt sealed properly either at the CRT or the Splitter I would have him come back and recheck his connections

RCA P61929 picture problem...


The TV was working fine, some time during the night the power went out, its plugged into a surge protector, everything else works fine, the TV won't turn on, the fuse is fine, is there a reset switch?

yes it could ba the cable itself even, but i suspect more the tuner circuit or tuner itself may have bad solder connections. Here is another test for you to try, plug another dvd or vcr, or xbox etc. into the back, using one odf the inputs. See if this works like the built in dvd. if so it will be more likely bad connections in the tuner or surrounding circuit. good luck.
