Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
My Duet GHW9150 Front Load Washer show code F then 11 flashing and the washer does not continue unless you touch cancel, wait a few minutes, and touch the start again. Sometimes, it works and continue the cycle. Sometimes, it does not continue the cycle. I would like to know what is the problem. Please help me.
"F11" is called a Serial Communications error. This commonly occurs when the Central Control Unit (CCU), which is the main computer, does not receive proper signals from the Motor Control Unit (MCU) for whatever reason. Before assuming you have a failed part, however, the manufacturer recommends unplugging the appliance for at least 30 miuntes to reset the CCU. Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches. If the problem returns, review the following link for more information:
In many cases this problem cures itself by resetting the computer. However, more commonly, when it appaears as a reoccuring problem, the CCU fails. Read through the link thoroughly, however, and follow the recommended advice just to be sure. Hopefully, this will not require any replacement parts. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you require further assistance.
