Question about GE Refrigerators
My GErefrigerator is not cooling as before. The temp swings from 32 to 47 degrees even when door is closed overnight. Now is seems that the temp hangs arount 42 degrees during the day and 47 at night. The gauge is set for 32 degrees. Can you help me with this problem?

I'm Harvey th Master Plumber.
Your question is: Your GErefrigerator does not seem to be cooling as before. You turned up the temperature control from 5 to 7 and also the freezer control higher, but it still doesn't seem to be cold enough. You don't want to lose all your food especially in the freezer What can you do? The model number is: TFX22PRX
First, make sure the power is on. Then listen for the compressor motor. If you don't hear it then you have a compressor failure or an electrical failure inside. If you can then look to a bad thermostat. In the mean time get everything into coolers or neighbor"s fridg.

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your post, friend!
I see your Frigidaire refrigerator is not cooling and you have performed a reset on your appliance by unplugging it. You could be experiencing an issue within your control panel or sealed system. I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional to come and diagnose your appliance for the proper repair. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
