Ok this is a hard one first take the two screws out near the filter just. That take a screw driver any pry the cover down start close to the ice maker side its held on with clips you will think its going to brake but just slowly pull it that back has hooks so once the front is loose don't yank use a flash litecyou will see three hook molded in the cover pull towards you the will come out disconnect lite harness and there will be a few more screw holding the housing up than you can get the filter out you do have to rotate the housing to remove

How to change air filter on a 2009 hyundai sonata

Hi there, here are a few steps to help you out:
  • Turn the Sonata off to eliminate the risk of engine backfires while changing the air filter. Leave the car off until the filter has been replaced or there is risk of injury.
  • Lift the hood of the Sonata. Locate the air filter housing unit on the passenger side of the car, in the front corner. Look for a black, plastic cylinder that has an accordion-type hose attached to it that leads to the engine.
  • Remove the air intake hose and air duct from the housing unit. Disconnect the connector for the air-flow sensor from the filter cover. Unclip the clip on the filter cover. Lift the cover off the housing unit.
  • Take out the old filter from the housing unit. Remove any remaining debris out of the air filter unit. Wipe the inner and outer surfaces of the housing unit with a damp cloth.
  • Place the new air filter in the housing unit. Use a K&N air filter, part number 33-2346.
  • Replace the cover on the housing unit and clip it in place. Reattach the air-flow sensor. Put the air intake hose and air duct back in place on the housing unit.
Best of luck....

Leaks at the filter of a frigidare side by side SXS FEFRIGERATO

Assuming this is a side by side, with the water filter located at the top back of fresh food side, assuming filter is unclogged, i.e., new, check the housing that the filter slips into, that which you actually grasp and turn to remove the filter. If there are any cracks in this filter housing, you will need to replace it. If the cover is sound, the problem will lie within the housing assembly, that which you screw the filter cover into. This housing is held on with 2 or 3 screws. IN order to remove the water lines, you must squeeze the white collar towards the housing, away from the water line, while at the same time gently tugging the water line. If you squeeze the collar correctly, the line should come right out. Make sure to connect ONE line at a time. Do not disconnect both and reattach at the same time. If the lines are reversed, you will damage the filter and possibly water system itself. attach water filter and check again. if filter cover is ok, and this does not fix your problem, without personal inspection, i cant help you further. Water filter compartment leaking

If you have already replaced the filter and you can see the housing is still leaking, You have to replace the housing and water tank as an assembly (12956202). Make sure you verify it's the filter housing leaking, and not a fitting at the water valve which is right behind the plastic cover around and below the filter housing.

2003 VW Beetle TDI

The oil filter is in a filter housing located on the top of the engine. Take the engine cover off. The 3, 10mm nuts are located under the circular pop-off covers that attach the plastic engine cover. You should see the oil filter housing to the right of the engine valve cover. The oil filter housing is a black, plastic cylinder with a cover that unscrews. The filter is inside of this. Make sure you drain the oil before unscrewing the cover to the filter housing.
