I got a siemens sl2_141 modem along with broadbaind coonection.I am unable to connect internet.please help for its settings.

First of all check whether dsl yellow light is on or not.
if it is not on then contact bsnl local branch.
otherwise
remove dsl line from modem.
Then
open internet explorer
type http://192.168.1.1
username= admin
password= admin
click WAN
edit pppoe 0_35_1
connection type=bridging
encapusulating =LLC/Snap-bridge
next
again next
save
save/reboot
close IExplorer
connect DSL line.
if its work plz reply me
