Question about HP Pavilion a800n (PP163AA) PC Desktop
My daughter shutdown the PC before Hurricane IKE bought in power outage but forgot to power off the surge protector. Now, after the power is back up, the PC won't start. We changed the power cable to see if the cable was burn't out, but did not solve the problem. Also, tried shutting down the surge protector and turned it on- no success.
There is green light at the back of PC that is flashing. Please help
The only thing i can think of is the power supply got fried that is the most common problem when it comes to the pc not powering on. Now hopefully that is all that it fried and not the motherboard my suggestion is to take to local pc repair shop and have them change your power supply or you could put it in if you familiar with how the machine is wired.
