    Im having the same issue and I have also reset the camera and removed the battery and nothing is working.

    quinton, I have rest the entire device and have called sony. They want $107 to fix it even though I paid less than that for the unit. I can also buy a new camera for that price :( Just hope there is an easy fix for this that someone has. Thanks

if you have guarantee change the lcd screen .. it is quite easier.. but the cost for changing is nearly 3/4 of the camera so better buy a new camera..

The DSC-W570 is a camera, not a battery charger. Connecting it to the computer merely drains the battery faster since the camera must spend juice communicating with the computer, even if only to say it has nothing to say.

You need to use the supplied battery charger and plug it into a wall outlet.

Hi Jim,
Have you tried resetting all settings on the camera? On a Sony camera, it is called "initialize". The initialize setting is found by going to the menu, and tabbing down until you find an option called either "reset settings" or "initialize settings" and then confirm it.
Many times that will fix the issue, in case something has either been enabled/disabled on accident, or the software is sticking (which happens from time to time)

hi

the flash doesnt flash anymore, you may need to replace th bulb for that. the yellow light means its a warning that the bulb is wor out.
