Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC

1 Answer

Camera control softwear

I use two digital cameras: an HP935 and a Kodak z1285 and have both of their software loaded. HP editing is okay, but EasyShare is slow and limited. My two questions are:
1. Is there one software that is compatible with both the HP and Kodak cameras that will transfer the photos from each to my hard drive?
2. What is a good photo editing software under $100.00 cost?

I am running an eMachine W3107 with XP-SP3.

Thank you,
Michael

Have a SDHC 8gb Kodak card that won't format in Z1285

It's suggested that you use any SD Memory Card formatting Software to format the SD memory card. You can download any such Software from the address given below:
https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/support/jp/sd/sdfv2003.exe

Download the software from the above link and install in your computer and then format the memory card using it. After formatting the memory card, insert it in your Camera and use it normally.

probably, and I doubt you'll be able to get a replacement anyway, sadly. These modern cameras are not meant to be repairable.

How to transfer pictures from Kodak EasyShare Z1285 to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.
Organize edit and share your photos
