Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small "+" you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly.

If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question exclamation mark ? mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers

If your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

if you don't have a disk with the drivers you have to download them

How do i find out witch display driver to disable so i can install new video card

You don't need to disable any driver, unplug, use ESD protection, install Graphics Card, move the monitor cable to the new card,(you may have to boot on the old monitor connection and install driver), install the driver for the new card and reboot plug into the new card. Do your windows updates to obtain the latest driver. You can open the Device Manager, open Display adapters and disable the Intel graphics adapter. Is it a PCI or AGP Graphics Card? Remember: with a Aftermarket Graphics Card it requires more Power/Watts, you should consider a PSU upgrade. You didn't post the Make, Model Graphics Card, usually there is a Min. Power Spec. for the card listed on the box.

Blue line on screen

This is very likely caused by display card driver. You may need to update
the display card driver.

I suggest you disable the display card driver to see if the problem still
exists. This will force Windows XP to use the default VGA driver.

To disable the display card driver, you can perform the following steps:
a. Click Start, right click My Computer and click Manage.
b. Click to highlight "Device Manager".
c. Click the plus sign "+" next to "Display adapters".
d. Right click your display card and click Disable.
e. Reboot your computer.

We reinstalled Windows and now there is no "Display Adapter" in the device manger listing and the display is not right. I think we are missing a driver for Nvidia GE Force 6200 turbo cache card....

Please check if you have an onboard display card and the NVDIA GEforce card, this situation can hapen when you connect your monitor to the onboard card instead of the NVidia card and try to install the driver for NVIDIA card.

Connect it back to the NVIDIA display card and once again install the downloaded driver, it should identify the device and install fine.

How can i get free pci express card driver of dell 380

The driver for the PCI express card depends on the card itself, not the computer. So we need to visit the manufacturer of the express card's website and download the correct driver for your card
