i tried to share internet with a dongle and it didnt work.. i am not sure if it was because of the dongle or miss configuration.. but it was brand new so i kind of doubt it.. because the only thing it didnt give me when i connect was a dns suffix.. and well.. i bought the router just to save time.. so i would also suggest you to buy the routter, it will be easier.. you could also buy a usb connection so you go by wire and not wireless.. ...

SOURCE: wii connect 24

try to change your router's channel to either 1 or 11 and make sure your wii is close to the router with no interference from microwaves and such.or you can change the dns servers like switch around the secondary ip address to primary and primary ip address to secondary.also, try to set your router's broadcast setting to 'mixed'.no guarantees, hope this helps.

Is there a fix to wii error code 50300 ?

The Wii console's internet connection settings are not correct. This could include your network name (SSID), WEP or WPA keys, or any manual settings you may have entered.
It's possible something has changed since you last connected online with your Wii console. Try setting up a new connection file, using your router's settings.
While "Search for an Access Point" is the easiest and recommended connection type, your network may require you to use the "Manual Setup" option.
If the problem persists, try our general troubleshooting for tips.
If you are still getting this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 for further assistance.

means that your wii is having trouble connecting to your wireless network.
please make sure that you wireless network signal is in range of the wii
setup your wii with wifi by going to the wii button on the home screen
wii settings> then page 2 select the internet.
go to wireless connection and connection 1 to setup your wifi.
search for access points and input the wireless security password to connect to the wireless network.
if this worked and you still get the error code please power cycle the wii and also check your wireless connection settings and any interference from other wireless networks. you may need to change the channel for the wireless network to 1 or 11.

I cannot get my wii to connect to my wireless internet. Ikeep getting errors codes such as 51330

The error code 51330 means that the WiFi cannot get through to your Wii because of the security system you currently have installed on your router. WEP encrypted WiFi routers cannot connect with your Wii properly. To save you some time, I've found the exact link where Nintendo troubleshooting gives you detailed instructions in fixing this problem and getting your Wii to connect to your WiFi.

Wii wifi internet connection problem 73412

Ok, if you are having this prob. you should goto support.nintendo.com and enter the code in the error box. or if you already have and it didn't work, put your wii's serial number in the repair/serial part and before you confirm that, check your warranty.
