I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.
Your problem is: When the water button is depressed and someone trys to get some water, there is a loud noise coming from inside and no water comes out.You have checked the water line and the filter, both seem to be ok??
Sounds like you might have a bad solanoid valve. It's in the back where the water line hooks up. Check that out.

It's the solenoid on the water valve. Power is getting to it but it's not opening so it just sounds like a buzzer. It's usually located in the back on the bottom where the water source enters the appliance.
Since it is loud noise when you are getting water. It could only be at the solenoid. The water is under pressure from the source, the solenoid is much like an electrical faucet. There is a screen to catch debris at the input of the solenoid from the water source. I would check there first. small particles can make a lot of noise when in a turbulence area in front of that screen. You would only hear noise as water is drawn through that area. And since there is nowhere for them to go, they will stay there until removed.
the loud noise is from the water freezing and hitting the fan blade in the freezer, is the imkr level? have you replace the filter if has one? is it hooked to an R/O water drinking system? if so remove the filter in frig. last thing to do if others questions ok if the shutoff to that water line going to frig is on the bottom of the pipe shut all the way off then turn back on if you have a dispenser and water is really slow to come out this may clear up the low water pressure. If on most units if you do not have appx 35psi it will not allow the valve inside the watervalve to seat and allows water to dribble by
Sounds to me like you need to have a water hammer device installed into your plumbing, I have only run across this just once before, the noise is very loud and very bothersome, you will need to contact a plumber and have him install a water hammer device into your system, also vibration dampers would probably help as well, if your water lines are running through floor joists and touching them, hope that helps
