And then i tried to add some new songs but it didn't work that either.

I have tried to sync music to my mp3 but not successful and why wont itunes either.

iTunes won't sync music to any device other than iPods. You'll need to use a program like Windows Media Player or MediaMonkey.

An alternative is to use Windows Explorer. Run "My Computer" and look for your Sansa shown there. Double-click on it. You'll either see a list of folders including "MUSIC", or you'll see something that looks like "Internal Memory". If you see "MUSIC", copy your songs to the MUSIC folder. If you see "Internal Memory", double-click on that, and then you should see a list of folders including "Music" ... copy your songs to the Music folder.

My sansa e280 won't allow me to add music. What can i do?

I used the sync tool from Windows Media Player and added the songs i wanted directly to the music folder. I recommend configurating the sync to manual so that only songs that are selected can go into your device. Oh, yeah... i formated the device first. This is just one way i found to be effective; there are other solutions. Hope this helps.

I cannot send videos to my sansa e280 ipod

First off get the arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as it?s connected, this program will also allow you to download YouTube videos and put them on your mp3 player too

White Screen

if you disconnect your mp3 player, does the screen still appear white and can you turn it on or off?
i had the same problem, basically it freezes because it is busy downloading music or placing music where it is suppost to be. but if you cannot turn it off after you have unplugged it, you should take off the back cover and take out the battery. place the battery back in, and replace the cover and it should be able to turn back on without a white screen.

When i connect to the computer, i can add songs, but the songs on it dont show up

I don't know if you've inadvertently deleted the music folder, but that's what I did, when I deleted all the folders by mistake, thank heavens for in-store warrenty, they replaced it with another one. What I noticed on my replacement is synchronizing with media player doesn't work, it creates ghost folders and thinks music is there when it isn't, I don't understand it. Solution: open two windows for my music and sansa e280 music, then just drag and drop the folders; what I noticed is that in my music the folders are named by artist, and I prefer to see them by album, but when I view them in the player, I see the albums with the tracks in the right order.
