I am having a problem with my Packard Bell (ATOM N270, 1.6GHz, Model#KAV60) laptop as when i power on my laptop, its power LED just flashes for 1 second but system does not start. When i put it on to AC...

Before this problem my book has an issue of no display when system was started but fan works. Nothing was visible when computer starts.
that is caused by memory cards not making good connection in the header pull memory cards out of notebook and take a pencil eraser to the gold contacts on both sides and scrub them good until it is shiny copper then reseat the memory cards in the notebook.
the flashing led could be the cpu is going bad or the bios is corrupted and needs to be flashed.
