I had the same issue on my Viewsonic N3752w
The online guide, said I had to press VOL+ and Menu at the same time, but forgot to say
a) it's from the TV buttons NOT the remote!!!
b) you need to keep pressing these 2 until it stop saying "Power unlocking" but Unlocked.

Hey. I did a chat with the people at Viewsonic and they said to hold the Meun button and Vol+ repeat Menu and Vol+ buttons together. Make sure you press it on the Tv NOT THE TV REMOTE. You will see a little bar fill up and the power lock will turn off. Ta Da!

Buttons are lock on television

hi, try this Power Button Lock
This mode locks the power of the LCD dislay in the ON position.

• Power Button Lock: Press and hold [1] and the down arrow for 10
seconds. If the power button is pressed the message Power Button Locked
will display for 5 seconds. With or without this setting, after a power failure,
your LCD dislay's power will automatically turn ON when power is restored.

• Power Button Unlock: Press and hold [1] and the down arrow again for
10 seconds. hope it helps

Hi, I have a ViewSonic VX2235mw LCD Monitor it was working fine then all of a sudden the screen turned off and now it wont turn back on. The power light is on and is Blue but no sign of life in the screen...

Hello,

This is a very common problem with this model after a few years of use. This problem is caused by a failure of the capacitors in the power supply board hat powers up the back lights in the monitor. When the back lights don't power up you get no display on the screen. Here is a link to a repair guide for that model that shows how to open the unit and what to look for and replace to repair the monitor.

Here is part one of the three part video repair guide posted at the above link:

Power lock enable

To get rid of the power button enable you need to either press and hold the power button on the tv ( not on the remote control pad) for approx 15 seconds or if that does not work do the same using the source button
