First try a reset by unplugging all the cords of your unit and leave it for 4 hours.Also open the refrigerator door.After that plug in all the cords,close the door and let me know the result.

I had this exact same problem. I replaced the PCB on the freezer. Cost approximately $100.00. Problem solved. No flashing door light, no fluctuations in temperature. YAY.
