If it is leaking at the front it is probably the door gasket, replacing the door gasket is not too difficult, but if you do not fit the new gasket in the proper way, the machine will keep leaking.

The repair generally is between $120/$200, as the part is not too expensive.

Call a repairman in your area and ask a quote for replacing the door gasket on your dishwasher.

How do we progress with resolving a substantial leak from bottom of dishlex dx301. Pumps out water will nil issue when emptying. Also noticed spray arms do not turn and water only dribbles from them

Fill hose, or float assembly has a problem with its gasket, which will cause it to do that. The float assembly itself could be the problem, if the unit is draining fine I would say that the sump and drain lines are fine.

Fill line or water inlet valve itself as well could be the issue.

Water leaking from shaft how to fix

if you mean theres water leaking from the drive shaft of pump comming from motor ,Im not sure how you can see this as the motor pump is all in one housing on these , usually only the larger ones (1.5 hp +) have a seperate motor from the pump to allow viewing of this junction, Anyways on the all in one units , there not reparable , you'll need to replace unit , only the larger ones have replaceable seals , this should only be done by a qualified person that has experience with mechanicial seals as they dammage very easly durring improper install and adjusments and do tend to be costly

Dishlex DX102

Your outlet path is most likely clogged with food, the remains of paper labels, or a combination of both (assuming the sealing plug was not left in your disposer unit). I've taken lots of these apart and they are all slightly different. Hopefully your years of mechanical experience and feeling for how thing "kinda' have to go together" will guide your disassembly. I should think the impeller would come out from the inside, as a clog such as yours is a foreseeable maintenance problem, so I'd think real hard before I removed the unit from the cabinet. Fortunately a dishwasher is not the worst appliance to remove. Unfortunately the uninitiated may remove it only to eventually find there was a way to do it in the first place. The alternate is to hire someone with the experience to know the answer - but then he gets the learning lesson (and the money) and not you.

The dishlex 302SB is not producing hot water for the washing

I have a Dishlex 302 which had this fault. Initially I thought it was the inline heater element and replaced it. It seemed to work but later no hot water again. Someone here put me on to the problem. There is a dry joint in the control board in the top of the door. This controls the relay which powers up the heater. Unplug it from the mains (very important) and undo the screws around the top of the door (don't take the door right off!) you will be able to wiggle off the front panel containing the electronics. The control board is ealiy disconnected an removed from the machine in its protective plastic cover. Have a look around the PCB and you will see the dry joint. Resolder with rosin core (electronic) solder, reassemble and you should have hot water.

My dishlex dishwasher overflows

The only part that physically allows water to enter a dishwasher (upon receiving power from the control) is the inlet water-valve. I would test the inlet water-valve located directly where you in-coming water line is connected to.

Shut-off power to the dishwasher and remove the 2 prong connection to the water-valve solenoid (small, black, batter size). Test the solenoid for continuity; if bad, replace the entire inlet water-valve (cost about $20)
