At a guess, on past motherboards there was an onboard battery to power the Bios memory chip storing the Bios data. Removing this battery momentarily and putting it back in place would erase such data. Upon restarting the computer, the Bios would revert to the manufacturer's default settings.

How do I remove my toshiba bios password? When I turn on my computer it instantly asks me for my password (Bios). I am unable to even get into my windows

The way around a lost/forgotten BIOS password is to reset the password to the default BIOS password, which is: no password at all. A BIOS will accept a password, but will not set one by default.
The way to reset your BIOS password, since it is not stored in flash memory, but is stored in battery-backed ROM, is to (utilizing proper static control techniques) remove the CMOS motherboard battery (a button cell), leave it out of the computer for a few minutes, then re-install the battery, and reboot the system. This will remove the BIOS password (and reset all BIOS parameters to their default, including the BIOS password), and send you into MSWindows, where you'll be prompted for Windows passwords to each of the password-protected accounts on the computer.
In brief, your anti-static technique of choice is an anti-static strap clipped (via simple alligator clip) to the frame (ground) of the system. In a tower computer, ground would be the frame, whereas in your Toshiba laptop, a number of grounds are available, such as a screw securing an output port, or other means of grounding as specified in your laptop's service manual.

Here's a link to a how-to for replacement of the CMOS battery in a Toshiba L305-S5895 laptop.

As a laptop repair tech I get Acer laptops with unknown bios passwords and I use http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_Acer_Bios.php For only $20 they will calculate and send you the bios master password for your laptop. They will need the 8 digit code that you get when you enter 3 wrong passwords and hit enter. With that 8 digit code they calculate the bios master password for Insyde H20 bios.

How to Break BIOS Setup Password

there is no way to break that password..the only way to remove it is to reset the bios by short the clear bios pins(jumpers)..or remove the bios battery ..this will erase any settings and when you put the battery back will be on optimal factory defaults..(same if you locate the jumpers for clr Bios) but ..for that you have to open the laptop ...its easier for desktops..but for this will be a little much ..but is the only way ...so ..in short be careful and you have to get to the motherboard and remove the battery ...if you do not have an acces point to the jumpers..

I need to break the bios password

There is not enough information here to provide a specific answer to your problem. However, there are two passwords which could be stopping you from accessing this. The first is a Power On Password, the other is a BIOS Password. if your trouble is the BIOS password, you can simply remove the power cord, the battery and the real time clock battery for about two minutes, then put them all back together and the system will work. If, however, your problem is the Power On Password, then the only fix is to "scramble" the BIOS chip, replace the BIOS chip, or replace the motherboard. The way to scramble the chip is quite complicated and can result in destroying the entire motherboard if it is not done correctly. I do not recommend this procedure unless you are extremely well aquainted with the workings of a computer motherboard, and if this was the case, you most likely would not be seeking advise here. So, unfortunately, I'm not comfortable yet explaining the scrambling technique. However, the Real Time Clock trick can be done by almost anyone, and in a few cases the RTC can also remove POPasswords as well. Dell has published details on how to remove the RTC on their website. You can follow this link to see the various instructions. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1300/en/sm/index.htm
