Hi Dishwashers usually run on 115-volt or 120-volt power. The water they use comes directly from the water heater, and wastewater is drained into the sink's drainpipe. The dishwasher is not connected to the cold-water supply. For best dishwashing results, set the temperature control of the water heater to no less than 140 degrees Farenheit. Water cooler than this usually doesn't get the dishes clean, unless your dishwasher is a newer model that preheats incoming water. The water shutoff for the dishwasher is typically located below the adjoining sink.

Dishlex dx301 dishwasher, the spray jets are blocked and dishes aren't getting cleaned properly

Do you live in an area with hard water? If so, hard water deposits cause 2 problems. They clog your spray arms and they leave a cloudy film on your clean dishes. Here's a map to tell if you have hard water. http://www.citriclean.net/why-citriclean/ And you can get a free sample of CitriClean if you request.

My coffee maker takes 20 minutes to brew a pot of coffee- extremely slow- I've lost the manual and do not know how to correct this...please help.

The first suggestion is de-calcify as the heating element is probably coated. The following should explain what I mean.

Most likely you have calcium flake deposits clogging the orifice/jet/valve, that restricts the flow of water until heated properly. As the water starts to flow the flakes collect and block the water flow. Periodic cleaning will cure this and prevent damage to the, orifices, jets, valves and heating elements of your machine ( as calcium builds up it tends to insulate the heating element thus requiring more energy/heat to complete the task). Eventually the heating element will over heat and burn out. Periodic cleaning extends the life of the machine plus the added bonus of a better tasting " Cup of JOE".
Most any cleaning preparation designated for a "Mr. Coffee " type machine will do the job. If you want a home remedy 3-4 tablespoons of white distilled vinegar per cup of water ( calculate for the size of your water reservoir ). But please do it outside on the patio, as the vinegar tends to be in competition with the air freshener, and will win.

The message reads decalcify/ventilate. When the knob is opened only a little water sprays out of the spout and then pump continues to make noise but no water emits.

Canadian spa haliburton hot tub.not warming up.were is the heater element and can it be checked.thanks

Do you live in an area that is prone to limescale build up. Is the pump pushing the water around as the element will not heat if there is no water flow around the tub. I had a similar problem and it was resolved by carefully taking the pump apart and giving it a good clean ( removing the limescale build up that was stopping it from pumping properly ).

F1 ERROR

This is a water heating error.

There are a few possible causes:

  1. Bad heating element
  2. Bad connection of wires to heating element
  3. Bad control board
Be sure that water hookup for dishwasher is hot water.

Unplug electrical connection to unit.

Remove front bottom cover.

Check wires to heating element for burning and that they are connected properly.

You may need a multimeter to check power to element and to help trace the circuit if necessary.
