Question about Kenwood KVT-815 - 7" DVD/MP3/WMA Rcvr Car Video Player
What type of dvd is needed to play videos? I used a dvd+r and it doesn't work so can someone please tell me what type is needed?
Only a thought but not all DVD players recognise movies on recordable DVDs only original movie DVDs. This is more noticeable on brand players such as Sony.
The cheap models seem to recognise all regions, formats and DVD types.

Try using VLC as your player. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes). Look for the Video Lan download from site www.videolan.org/vlc Download and install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It's a very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formats and media. It's totally FREE.
