Loading a lexmark printer z738 have not got a installing cd

Well, first, turn the printer on. Then, lift the cover. You will here the cartridge moving, then it will stop, in your case, i guess in the center. If you have a some kind of plastic, just lift it up and you should see the cartridge. Just gently pull it out.

lexmark does not list the driver on their site, either US or UK. I did find this site:

They have drivers listed for Vista 33 and 64 bit. I cannot guarantee this site. I have never tried it.

If you are from another country besides the US or UK, let me know and I will search further.

You want a driver for a printer you do not have, why?

I'm not sure that that would work now-a-days that the printer is integrated by the driver during the installation process. A non-response from the printer could kill the installation process.

To get an actual installation disc, you would be best served by calling Lexmark Technical Support and asking for a replacement disc. There may be some payment required by Lexmark.

But again I ask why? I my old lab, I had plenty of HP drivers installed so I could test the drivers from HP against our implementation of PCL and Postscript.

A web page will open, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthefile,doubleclick on the file, if you get introubles ,thenfollowinstructionsbelowto reset and reinstall:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website and run the file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note some Lexmark printer does not work on Vista.

Why is a problem to down load drivers for Lexmark X8300? I am in the IT depaertment at my work place. I lost my CD for the printer Lexmark X8350. Thuough my suggestion is very obvious that you shoul do lke other companies they make it very easy for us to down load drivers for thier Products tha is if it is not for sale.

Please help me I cant fix my problem of not being able to install my printer driver Lexmark X8350.

www.lexmark.com has load of options for this. Choose your operating system, and download the newest drivers, which are more likely to work, than what you may have had anyway. got backup?
