I have almost the same problem ... I don't have to prewash but when the load get finished and I go to the dishes everything has this sort of debris on it ... like it didn't rinse correctly and then the heat almost baked it on ... plates and glasses are the worst.

Same here only mine is white.. WTH..I was thinking it was our somewhat hard water...but..now I wonder..My metal dishes look old also and the thing is useless as far as I'm concerned..My next dishwasher will be from a different maker for sure..

This is the worst dishwasher we've ever had. This dishes never come out clean and the mold builds up in the dishwasher. Ugh!

SOURCE: Dishes are still dirty after washing. There is

hi,
have you cleaned out the aerator at the sink? its the silver canister thing that comes up through the sink that hisses when the dishwasher drains. pull the cover straight up and off unscrew the inner plastic nut and clean that out in there. look down in there for obstructions. you can go under the sink with a screwdriver and undo the drain line and and put it in a bucket and run a cycle to see if its draining. if its not draining your going to have to take the bottom rack out and study how the wash arm, the pump inlet screen all come undone, most brands are serviceable by the consumer, mostly just phillips screws. you may be surprised what you find down there. you might want to have some bleach in a spray bottle and a couple car rags handy to clean as you go..
good luck

SOURCE: Dirty dishes, pump acid wash.

I would not recommend using acid in a dishwasher it could lead to premature seal failure and damage the internal components.

There are cleaners that can be used that are dishwasher safe such as Lemi-Shine, Glisten, Rinse Aid dishwasher cleaner etc. Vinegar works pretty good too.

Depending on what the symptoms were a pump cleaning may be needed, before you act check out these tips I put together, feel free to send me a message back with any questions.

We have a Bosch SHU3307UC dishwasher. Two friends swear by theirs, saying they put everything in dirty and the load always comes out clean. That does not at all work for us. My wife has to just about wash...

Put dirty stuff in will eventually keep a tech like me very busy. We love to come and charge you alot for cleaning your dishwasher. Remember the Maytag commercials where they put a cake in it? Still got the dishes clean but before long it will cost you big time. Just run everything under the tap. Pot and pans should be lightly washed also. Watch how you place the dishes. Most dishwashers spray up from the bottom. Block it, and the spray will not reach the top.

Mold growing on dishes

Recommend that you run another cycle with no DW soap aded, waiting until the dishwasher has filled with hot water and begins to do the first wash cycle. Then add 1/2 cup of bleach to the water and close the door. Allow the cycle to finish. Run it normally with a standard load of dirty dishes. Note: These high efficiency dishwashers count on the "dirt" of the dirty dishes to help wash/clean the dishes. Recommend you not rinse/wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.

Watch for any occurrence of the black dots and repeat the bleach treatment.

Same as above problem: I have had this dishwasher for less than 4 years and the dishes as of about 2 years ago stopped getting cleaned. I use the recommended dish liquid and rinse and lightly clean the dishes before I put them in.

Food particles are on dishes after washing

Try adding bicarb of soda/baking soda and vinegar in the detergent dispenser. Bicarb fizzes off hardened particles and vinegar strips off grease and aids rinsing.

What you will find is that the plastic nut fixed on the back panel that the top drawer pushes into has lost the rubber inner layer. Replace and your problem is solved

there is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. it actually filters the water going into your dishes. the dishes look dirty because your water has a lot of calcium and magnesium in it making them appear cloudy or dirty. the dishwasher filter reduces those minerals and my dishes look perfect now. no more dirty and grimy looking dishes. i also dont waste time washing them by hand before and after the dishwasher. hahaha you can get it at www.dishwasherfilter.com. use code DFMTEN and you will get 10% off. it fits right under your sink and is very affordable. you will be glad you bought this product. thanks
