Question about Dryers
Happ to hepl!
You said, The dryer wont start, makes humming sound
1. Check the outlet that it is still plugged in.
2. And check that the breaker is in the on position.
3. You may want to rule out the breaker being an intermittent problem by turning the breaker off and on once. ( As long as the breaker does not support something else on the same circuit that is vital)
IF SO YOU MAY WANT TO SKIP THIS STEP!
Be cause if the breaker is intermittently faulty, it may not restart after this and then where would you be if it the same circuit supports a freezer or fridge..
4. Unplug the dryer for 3 minutes and then after this time out try to restart it to see if it resets the system.
If after these tasks your dryer is still inoperable you will need hands on service to diagnose this situation!
