The F1 error code means that the control board has a detected a problem within the control itself and the control board would need to be replaced.
The part number for that control board is W10189966 it could be picked up at your local appliance parts store or online at; searspartsdirect.com apwagner.com partselect.com apdepot.com repairclinic.com
F1 error and the beeping sounds in your Kenmore front load washer means that the Electronic control board has gone bad and needs replacement. You can buy the parts from Sears if you want to do the repair yourself. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
Hi, The "F1" error code on the Whirlpool cabrio is quite common, and generally has to do with the control board. Replacing the control panel may resolve this issue. However, I believe Whirlpool is aware of the F1 issue with the Cabrio, and is fixing some machines for free. Please call 1-800-253-1301 for more details and see if you are eligible for a free repair. Thank you !!
Hi, ok so there was a recall on the control boards it's fine don't be
scared all you have to do is call 1800-659-7026 give them your info and
model and ser.# they will then send someone out to replace the control
board it takes about ten min for all of it and it is all free no matter
when you bought it. But in mean time quick fix for all of you is to
unplug the washer then hit power then stop over and over tell there is
no power left in it then plug it back in and it will work fine for
awhile you may have to repeat if it does it again. But after they come
out it will work fine. yes this has happened to me it sucks it took two
years to find out what was wrong they didn't even tell us I had to ask
alot of parts guys and look it all up. So for everyone that this is
happening to I'm sorry I just hope this gets out to all of you because
I work very hard to know my product and take care of my customers ask
any of them and it's not easy working STRAIGHT commission and people
don't want to come back for these kind of things. But remember the
reason why you came there in the first place we will give you the
lowest prices in town and we know what we are talking about, well most
do if not they ask me:) so I really hope this helps someone out there.
YES! Serious problem...more annoying than anything else. Wait until your machine stops at the spin cycle and displays "F1" again. We just had a repair tech out today and received a quote of $384+ to fix/replace the circuit board.
Kenmore & Sears are fully aware of this problem and have issued a recall on a model that is one digit off of the model I have yet they will not do anything about this even though it is the same problem. These machines are huge dogs!
Moister can get in between the contacts,is it in a high moister environment? Try using a hair dryer on the panel to dry it out. Also unplug it to reset.
Hope this helped.Let me know by rating me For more help go to live chat. lenwest
Ok these are not the series 70, getting a model number off the door will reallllllly help. Some of these sound like the oasis. F1 is motor control or primary control failure and F 41 is a rps thermistor failure.
For the guest with the 11027086601 kenmore elite oasis here is a link for supplying me with a partial model number, much thank yous!! paste in a browser:)
