Before doing anything check the number of catrige e. g, 21,28, 26. Use the same one which lastly work for your printer
if it ok then
The place at catrige from where the ink comes out touches the surface inside, check if ink is there. clean it perfectly witn iso profile it should work.
Many printers require you to print a test page and go through a process to align the new cartridge. If you haven't done this I would suggest this as your first step. This will confirm if the printer is working.
If still no joy, disconnect printer from computer, uninstall it then reinstall it. Can often save hours of messing using this method.
1. Try to use glossy photo quality paper for photo print out. which is look good and not so expence of ink.
2 Use good quality glossy type normal paper for text print out. that can not **** much ink from the cartriges.
3. try to cover your printer always.
4. clean the head via tst print oftenly.
this clearly indicates that the printhead of your black cartridge is completely blocked and it needs internal cleaning which cannot be done by printers cleaning commands.the print head has to be removed from the printer and and then cleaned with isoprophyll and soft tissue very slowly and gently.if u dont have a technical idea taking it to the repair center is advisable.
I had the same issue when I replaced the printer and kept the old cartridges I had just purchased. The OK button I pressed was on the PRINTER not the PC. You dont say the model printer you have. Mine is an all-in-one J6480.
