Whirl pool duet

I have loved my washing machine but to day it would not spin out the water. It is a front loader. When I turn it on it sounds like the washer is trying to sping but it will not spin.. I unpluged it and tried again still nothing do you think it could be the motor?

Lets run a diagnostic test selecting drain/spin, on spin speed select no spin then press prewash quickly twice, watch for F error codes and write them down, press prewash again to advance past error code seen. Then post back because there are several issues here that can cause this, motor sensor errors, serial communication errors, pump and drain siphon issues.

You can remove the lower panel. Have to drain the hose - water rushes out...and then reach up insie the washer where the door latch is, there will be a ring that you can pull on that releases the lock.. Got that much done...but the beeping continues... Be sure to unplug the machine first!

the water pressure is to high turn the tap down and wind the front feet right up. very common the water comes in to fast and splashes over the tray & down the front panel that will rust. replaced over 100 front panels still under warranty due to this problem.

Whirl pool washing machine doesnt spin dry

If it wont spin at all, check the lid switch. If it will spin but not fast enough to spin the water out of the clothes, it sounds like the clutch could be slipping.

My whirl pool washing machine tries to fill up but never fills up

This means it is stuck between the spin and rinse cycle and the time piece in the housing unit might need replaced if the knob itself isnt stripped also make sure it is on small or large load..

My whirl pool washing machine no longer spins. I just stopped on day. I can hear the motor trying to turn the drum but it doesnt.

Hi. This is a possible broken belt. You will need to access the drive assembly to confirm. The symptoms you have posted will often lead to a separated belt.

NOTE(IF this is a top loader, and you are hearing noise during the spin attempt, this will lead to failed motor coupler. Please disregard this note if the unit is a front-loader)

2003 Whirlpool Duet Washer clear water pooling in drum after use.

When the machine is off, there are only two ways water could possibly enter. 1 Check the drain hose install, that it is not installed deep in the standpipe, if the hose is shoved too deep, it can sometimes siphon (rare with front loaders) water back into the machine.
2. Most likely cause, a slow leak from the water valve. Sometimes the water solenoid will not close completely, and you will get a very, very slow leak into the machine.
If not the drain hose, try shutting off the water supply valves when done using the machine, if that takes care of it, you may want to replace the machine's inlet valve.
